A WRINKLE IN TIME

I come from political lies
From promises never kept

 A common child in the streets
Hustle in my veins

 I come from moonlight dark
The streets that never sleeps

 Victim of monopoly lies
A shade of endless grey

 And just like that
I became another descent
Of guttered dreams...

    I hear the streets are now built with cracks in them. That the little kids don't like school anymore, that their hearts are now knee-deep buried in them, they don't come out no more. I hear they're now broken branches of family trees.
