Here comes my "Therapy"…Summer

We could all do with a lil bit of…




         Today, I was jolted off from bed with all "50 shades of sadness"…And in that odd moment, Life became like Uncles that touch us when we are asleep… I felt used again


          The human condition and the obssesive desire to find "The Life" has become our greatest scam in history…We create this grand image in our heads of the life we want and in all of that forget that we have to start with the life we've been given…I'm guilty of the aforementioned by the way…


         A lot of times, We place our lives on the acting stage, put on a brave face and read through the lines we are being given (if you know what I mean)…hoping that somewhere in between the lines, "Happiness" will find it's way back home to us and probably tonight, "Peace of mind" won't stay out late in the cold…



       But then the night comes…Reality hits in, The stage is only temporary and all actors have two lives…So then it becomes easier to just numb the struggles like they don't exist…ahaahaa, what a mad world we live in



     
       To push on requires a measure of resilience, a sense of refusal to remain at the same status quo…and In that process, you find your value, your confidence, most importantly, your happiness find its way back home


      From the girl behind the mask to the guy with a cold heart, we all need a recess… A little bit of reminder that we are not the f**ked up human beings our life acclaim us to be…




    So maybe Life, a company of useless uncles, is all that it is…This time, I'll choose something different, I'll wear my heart on my sleeve, Break the cycle…and take that long break…

    I hear the streets are now built with cracks in them. That the little kids don't like school anymore, that their hearts are now knee-deep buried in them, they don't come out no more. I hear they're now broken branches of family trees. NIGERIAN ABSENT FATHERS...

DIJA, my younger sister has always had issue with her tongue for a pretty long while or so I thought. Right from the point she started talking, she stared intently into Mama’s eyes and threw up a teethy smile screaming, “PAPA, PAPA”, even though Papa was nowhere around, Mama hated her from that moment on. She’ll only take her meals in the study room, a lonely place housing a lot of PAPA’s memories finding happiness in a name and personality that has been long forgotten. She turned 5 years when she finally realized that the strange man in every broken picture frame around the house never waved back and she felt disappointed, Somehow, she figured Mama had answers so she'll tug at her clothe from time to time saying, “Sun rise up above, sun set down below, everybody know but Papa no come house, where in go…Nobody know”.   Pending this unusual interview, I run a quick search on this " Person of Interest ", something sort of a backstory, I would say. Nothing comes up, now my curiosity deepens...
